Addressing Domestic Abuse: A Community Conversation Domestic abuse reverberates throughout our entire community, affecting individuals, families, and neighborhoods. To foster awareness and change, we have assembled a remarkable group of leaders from various corners of Shelby County. Together, they will delve into critical topics, including: Universal Impact: How domestic abuse touches the lives of everyone, directly or indirectly. Systemic Challenges: The ways in which societal structures inadvertently perpetuate domestic abuse. Preventive Measures: Concrete steps that can be implemented to prevent abuse from occurring in the first place. Join us in this essential dialogue as we work toward a safer, more compassionate community for all.
